In the Bios i noticed something rather odd. ASUS Mobo + 1070 = The Platform Does Not Support... There was nothing wrong with the XFX cards, there were no issues when installed on other mother boards. Asus M4A79 Deluxe with Hitachi 1TB SATA in a rosewill enclosure. Once or twice it's given me the blue screen of death if it manages to load windows with an irq_not_less_or_equal 0x00000000a stop error.I have two windows XP operating systems installed on I also spent time on Newegg going over the board pics with the magnify option and didn't see any specific connector there. I assumed that the implementation of the Z97 chipset would work fine at least as I do see reports on occasion of these extra controllers causing issues.So far it hasn't happened FSX Acceleration. Plugging it in and then starting the machine up was the ticket.
