The backwards behavior would continue in a saved drawing even when it was edited on an English version of Visio using English / left-to-right configuration. Huh? Visio Nudge Not Working
If a user has Visio RTM and has never installed the beta, and I send them a file created and saved in the Beta version, will this issue/bug present itself? If you hold down the shift key and use the arrow keys you will nudge the object. Select a shape with connection points, right click, and pick "Show ShapeSheet". This is a change Microsoft introduced in Visio 2010.

It's likely that there are reasons for enabling connection to just one connection point in the provided shapes. I've run a detect and repair but still have the problem. Thanks. This is called a point connection.

Don't worry, it's not a big deal… it just exposes additional features. Be aware that any modifications you make to those shapes, such as deleting a connection point, may "break" the automation.
