Macbook Keyboard Backlight Disabled


This was driving me nuts. is there a way to disable the external sound port altogether so it plays through the internal speakers? When doing this you should see the backlight turn off and back on, and hopefully resetting it in this manner is all that's needed. I had some additional RAM installed and I thought something may have come loose but we opened it up again and couldn't find anything.
