Application.screenupdating = False Not Working 2013


Hope that this might help others. Thank you..it was annoying. As a workaround, when troubleshooting, you can keep setting that variable at intervals throught the code to track the value of ScreenUpdating.   I'm pretty sure any screen update causes a flicker, I can only imagine what it would be like accessing alternative locations in different workbooks within the code. http://theweblive.net/not-working/application-screenupdating-false-not-working-2010.html

Try putting the following statement: Debug.Print Application.ScreenUpdating throughout your code and, after your routine has finished, check to see if at any point it changes value. Sheet2 does some calculations and needs to update values on Sheet2 and Sheet1.
