These keys have a slight delay to prevent them from being pressed accidentally. Also, I have a loose faucet in my house. If you need to keep Bluetooth on, you can remove the keyboard from the list by clicking on the “X” on the right side of the entry in your System Preferences System Preferences>System>Speech> Text to Speech; de-selected "Speak selected text when the key is pressed". It is a partial failure as seen in the video. My ower case L won't work but upper case wiLL.
Make sure that Enable Mouse Keys is unchecked. nobody else could fix it! I was afraid it was a hardware problem and I would have to get a new laptop. Then place the keycap back on and press down to snap it in place.

First, in later-model keyboards and computers, Apple has delayed the activation of both the Caps Lock and Eject buttons to prevent accidental activation so that quick taps wont activate the keys. I decided to UNTICK the same checkbox and the keyboard still works for now.
