Apple Magic Mouse
The shape of the mouse is hard to use and uncomfortable compared to many pc mouses. I'm on my second mouse from apple which also does this so either I need to find a static resistant pad or add a small ground wire on the mouse somehow. MacInTouch Amazon link... Thus a right-click requires lifting the finger off the mouse, then right-clicking. Or, of course, move the computer out of range of the EM interference. I'd prefer corded, but the G5 has only 9 (+/- can't be configured) functions and the MX-518* has only 10 of that. I disabled button 4, but I still hear a clicking inside the mouse every time I touch the mouse. I now carry a thin mouse pad in my bag and the problem has gone! same problem. I took out the batteries, turned off bluetooth, changed the preferences, restarted my MacBook and it's all the same.
Lots of kooks who take cheap shots at Apple saying their beloved manufacturer is better and this proves it. I'm very sympathetic to the Application Design argument for single button mice. I've always wondered why, but for me, something about the way I hold the mouse causes me to trigger a right-click all the time.

I always accidentally press its left side button with my thumb, and, of course, it's bound by default to go back in web pages, and do other annoying things. Did I cheat? The new mouse also makes a micro "clicking" sound when the mouse is moved around...I assume it's the side button micro switches operating even though I'm not pressing the switch. At least that part works fine.
Granted, Iâ€™m a heavy computer user, but there is no reason why a mouse should be covered in grime every other day, to the point where I have to clean it. The mouse has four functional controls: a left capacitive sensor, a right capacitive sensor, a track ball with a pressure sensor and side squeeze sensors.
