I also think that batteries have firmware and there could perhaps be a conflict there. It's actually a removable hidden plug, probably so the wall outlet type can be easily changed for different countries. THX! The LED on the adapter connector doesn't light up when attached to the computer. If you have an older Apple laptop with a removable battery you should remove it and re-insert it to make sure it's properly installed. Thanks soooo much!!
