Just follow the cable harness till it connects to the harness going to the ECU. The car has 155K on it.. I thought I might get some better guidance here (thanks!). perhaps that is why the rubber was used in the first place. his comment is here

Hopefully I lucked out with this one, still waiting for all the parts I ordered... The VW dealer told me that it was my dash cluster that was defective. Can you tell me which fuse that is? They're in Tamp, FL.
