The wiper motor can be removed from the tailgate (and disassembly isn't difficult) but be careful: the wiper arm commonly seizes on the spindle. If using silcone, let it go off before reassembling ,just incase it leaks. In the picture you can see the hole in the top right of the picture. Any advice appreciated. If I operate stalk switch then turn on ignition the motor kicks a small amount and stops. You should if all has gone well, get the result similar to the pic below.
