since this would just replace my 3.5mm output jack and I wouldn't have to open up my tablet. Use Plastic Opening Tool to remove the wire on the panel by hooking it around the white clip and pulling straight out from the panel. The sound still comes out of the speakers when I plug in headphones. But mine appears to be working ok.
I get audio that randomly starts playing out of speakers whenever it decides to do so. i uninstalled the via drivers and let windows sort out its own drivers.
