Instead of showing a message box i could rewrite it to: Code: public static bool checkOutputLength(TextBox outputText) { if (outputText.TextLength >= 15) { return true; } return false; } And then CharacterCountControl (optional) – By default the plugin will display character count below the TextArea, but user has option to explicitly specify the Character Count Control. When your TaxtMode is set to "MultiLine", the MaxLenght property has no affect.
