Power goes through one wire and resistance in the coil creates heat and the power travels back through a ground wire. When you put it on low, only the left side heats up, they have never both worked at the same time. I think when I was asking this question last year I was told Cat had an issue with hand warmers in that year and I am beginning to believe they did.

I would think its a resistor or something like that that needs to be replaced, or maybe a short in the wires. But a lot of sleds run power from the lighting coil unregulated to the hand warmers, but run regulated power to the thumb warmer so it doesn't melt the plastic throttle Ground?
