Solution for me (MacBookAir 13″ mid 2012) was to kill that f#cking proces and restart App Store to get the Yosemite 10.10.4 update. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.Turn on the computer.Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.Hold the keys down until the computer They notify me to new updates, but they have yet to download automatically.
